 Amanda Gollehon

Amanda earned her Masters of Family Therapy at Mercer University School of Medicine in July 2023. She sees individuals, couples, and families ranging in age from adolescence to late adulthood. She has experience working with a variety of issues such as trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, relationship concerns, life adjustments, and grief.

Amanda’s work is influenced by experiential models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Satir Family Therapy, which she uses to help clients attune to their bodies, fully accept their experience, and express themselves to ultimately create lasting change. She also incorporates mindfulness, meditation, and somatic work into her sessions as a long-time meditation and yoga practitioner.

In her free time, she enjoys reading literature, painting, cooking traditional Japanese food, and spending time with her partner and their dog and cat.
