“Mardi Gras Athens” will occur February 5th, 2008 at the Melting Point in Athens, Georgia.  The Night will consist of a:

• Pre-Concert Party – From 6:00PM to 7:00 PM at the Melting Point. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided and special door prizes will be given away.
• $2,500 “reverse raffle”  - Only 100 tickets will be sold. Many door prize winners with the last ticket drawn receiving the $2,500 cash prize. Drawings will be during the pre-concert party.
• Benefit concert - The Concert begins at 8:30 and features The Randall Bramblett Band with special guest performers.  Proceeds from the benefit concert will be shared with the family of Randall’s Tour Manager, Stuart Collins,  who died unexpectedly this year
  

The Fat Tuesday event on February 5, 2008 will include, The Randall Bramblett Band with special guests, and will feature a “Reverse Raffle” with a $2,500 cash prize awarded to the lucky holder of the last ticket drawn. A maximum of 100 tickets will be sold at $100 each. The ticket price includes admission for two people to the pre-concert party and the concert, entrance into the $2,500 raffle and eligibility for door prizes. Prizes will be awarded periodically as we count down to the lucky winner of the $2,500. The winner does not have to be present to win.

Someone other than the purchaser of a ticket may be designated as the beneficiary of the $2,500, making this an ideal way for parents, grandparents, school booster clubs and other groups to pool their resources for ticket(s) purchased on behalf of someone in need or special group projects. Golf and other hobby groups may also want to purchase tickets as a way of funding that special group trip as well.

A $100 tax deductible donation includes admission (for two) to the Randall Bramblett Concert & pre-concert party, and 1 reverse raffle ticket.

For Concert Tickets Only ( or additional tickets for those wishing to attend the 8:30 concert only): On Tuesday February 5th 2008 @ 8:30 - The Randall Bramblett and guests concert will be held at the Melting Point. Tickets are available through The Melting Point at (706) 254-6909 or via their website at meltingpointathens.com. Tickets are $20 each.

Sponsorship: Any organization or individual wishing to become a sponsor of this event can contribute $1,000 and will receive 2 raffle tickets (4 admissions to the concert and preconcert party).
