Marnie Dodd

Marnie Dodd [LCSW] spent the first 10 years of her professional career working at FCS and after 14 years of working as a clinical social worker in a wide variety of other setting, Marnie has returned to FCS. Her passion and specialty is working with individuals living with a chronic illness and individuals who are primary caregivers for a family member or friend.  She believes that people are more than their diagnosis and her goal to help individuals be the person they want to be as they deal with the impact of their illness. She also believes that self-care is paramount in a care givers ability to care for others. Her therapy style is client centered, strengths based and solutions focused. Marnie grew up in Dalton Georgia attended Georgia State University for her Undergraduate Degree and later in life attended The University of Georgia to complete graduate work in Social Work.
